Cardiology Department
Department description
Following the opening of the Cardiocentre Vysočina a.s., an independent Cardiology Department of Hospital Jihlava was established on 1 February 2008.
The construction of these two departments fulfilled the condition for the introduction of timely and accessible modern cardiological care in the Vysočina Region.
The main focus of activity is the care of patients with acute coronary syndrome for the area of the Vysočina Region, which consists of 520 000 inhabitants.
The cardiology department has 52 beds, of which 8 are intensive care beds in the ICU.
