Pulmonary Department
Department description
The pulmonary department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the lungs, mediastinum and pleura. It is a part of the comprehensive pneumooncology centre, closely cooperating with the Third Clinic of Thoracic Surgery in Motol.
The outpatient tract includes a general clinic, a bronchoscopy department, a functional pulmonary diagnostics department, centres for the treatment of fibrotic lung processes and the treatment of severe asthma, a clinic for sleep-disordered breathing and an clinic for the treatment of tobacco dependence. The inpatient part of the department consists of a station with 20 standard beds.
