Spiritual care

In Hospital Jihlava, spiritual care is provided by hospital chaplains: a Roman Catholic priest R.D. Mgr. Jakub Tůma, which is present every THURSDAY and an Evangelical pastor Mgr. Markéta Slámová, which you can encounter here every MONDAY

Both offer spiritual counseling and comfort to patients, their loved ones, and staff. In case of urgent need, they will visit on other days or arrange for a substitute. Upon request, they will facilitate contact with clergy from other churches and religious communities. They regularly visit patients based on information gathered by healthcare and social workers and other staff.

Mgr. Jakub Tůma administers the sacraments and celebrates Mass regularly on Thursdays in our hospital chapel.
