Offered services
- Replacement of the kidney function in both acute and chronic renal failure.
- Provision of dialysis arteriovenous coupling (native or artificial (Goretex)) by a vascular surgeon at the local surgical department or in complicated patients and at a higher institution (VFN Prague).
- The option of temporary central venous access to the jugular vein or the subclavian or femoral vein.
- The option of introducing a long-term central venous access (permanent dialysis cannula into the jugular vein).
- Use of the BTM module (measurement of flow through vascular access), BVM (active control of ultrafiltration of fluids during the procedure), measurement of body fluid composition by bioimpedance (BCM).
- Performing angiography / fistulography of the AV connection at the local RDO workplace, performing PTA (plastics) if stenosis is detected, or providing intervention at a specialized workplace.
- The option to be included in the transplant programme.
- Regular monthly laboratory assessment of the patients' condition.
- Patient education on dialysis diet and regimen.
- The care of an institutional psychologist.
- Consiliary activities for hospital and private doctors.
- The possibility of temporary inclusion in a dialysis programme (recreational dialysis).
- Cooperation with neighbouring dialysis centres.
- We provide training for home dialysis.
