Department of Imaging Methods

The Department of Imaging Methods at the Hospital Jihlava is equipped with high-quality and modern equipment. The data is stored in electronic form in the PACS system, thanks to which the system ensures easy communication between medical facilities. We take care to minimize the radiation burden on the client. We provide a full range of scans including scanning, skiascopic, CT, MR and sonography. A mammography centre is an integral part of our department. We also provide interventional radiology such as embolization, PTA, percutaneous vertebroplasty, RFA, biopsy, PRT, PTD etc. We perform a range of contrast media examinations such as coronary angiography, angiography, colonography, ductography, IVU, MUCG, GITU, lung, brain and bone examinations. OZM is part of the Lung Cancer Screening project. We use the latest findings in the field of radiodiagnostics, which are then applied in our department.
